Great help keeping me warm around the neck and shoulders when out pushing snow in winter. Also nice when the house gets chilly and drafts. Great colors to pick from.

I received one of these shemaghs as a gift from my brother and used it every single day this summer, laboring 10-12 hour days on a big project outside in the +100degree Texas heat.

I’m 50 years old and I wish I had discovered the HUGE benefit of keeping a nice damp piece of fabric around the neck many years ago. It cools the blood as it flows through the carotid arteries! This is basic stuff people! Yet somehow it’s not widely adopted? Watch the old westerns-those guys routinely have a bandana round the neck. Now I know why! I thought about this all summer long as I was happily working on the end of a shovel with this simple thing cooling my neck and chest.

I roll up a few ice cubes in mine, wrap it round my neck, and they melt slowly over several hours keeping my core temp down and making otherwise unbearable temperatures quite comfortable. In the heat of the day, dunk it in the melted icewater in my drink cooler on water breaks, wrap it around my neck (ABsolutely refreshing) and keep on trucking through the heat! I can’t say enough about how critical this is as a tool if you work outside.

I would have collapsed from heat exhaustion on some of these extreme heat advisory days without it. Just worked right through it with my fabulous shemagh! Nobody has to know about the silly name, and it’s a stylin piece of gear if you just wear it like you own it;)

I bought 3 more and plan to never go without one again. Excellent simple great material; nice and big, so you can use it in all sorts of different ways.

I ordered 3 shemaghs and some people I know liked them. That means I will have to order some more as Christmas gifts. These are highly recommended for survival and hunting.
